We arrived around 5:30 pm and got one of three campervan pitches - we had called ahead to inquire - 29 NZD for 24 hours - you have to pay at reception - it's by the road, but that didn't bother us... Delicious pizza and a coffee shop opposite, it's also possible to eat and play at the hotel (restaurant with bowling alley).
Ideal camping spot just down from queenstown! Stayed here for 29$, free wifi and use of the toilets. Could only fit 3-4 vans in the allocated spot but a great option while in Qt.
Flat parking spots, looks like space for 3 vans and fills up around 6-7pm. We stayed two nights, great to arrive early and park all day (included in the $29 overnight fee). Easy bus into town ($2.50 with a bee card) and pizza across the road!
This is a great option for Queenstown as the free spots are super strict and many don’t have toilets. The other paid spots seem expensive. 29 NZD per van is good value in comparison and only a 10 minute bus into QT and cost 4 NZD. A couple of cool food places across the road as well. WiFi didn’t quite reach us, we were also woken up by some fellow campers returning at 4am which was frustrating. Only 3 spots.
$29 for the night, included use of toilets and free Wi-Fi. Lots of space and good location very close to shot over jet and other activities on the shot over river. Overall would recommend.
Went there today. But the parking lot was under maintenance, so they did not let any campervans stay there at the moment.
A quick bus ride into queenstown with nice toilets. WiFi does not really work in the car park but it does in the hotel. We were told that the hotel is limited to 5 campervans a night
Stayed here last night, just called in advance to check if there were spots available. When you arrive, just head up to the hotel reception, they give you a parking ticket for $30. You can use the hotel toilets, no other facilities available (understandably). There is also a nice cute cafe across the road and other F&B spots. Just a 3 min drive to the Shotover Jet and Queenstown Rafting spot. Thanks Swiss Bel!
It’s basically staying in the hotel’s car park. We paid $30 for 1 night 4 adults in a motorhome. Easy access to toilets in the hotel. Fine for a night but as it is a car park, I wouldn’t stay longer. We didn’t book in advance as the reception didn’t pick up the phone nor replied to emails, you can just show up.
Wifi doesn't really reaches the parking space and loses connection every minute. Second night was just 15$ if you don't choose the pizza.
