Long gravel road and then easy hike. The fall is really far from the viewpoint. Really high though!

A very simple hike with a nice falls at the end. We got there on a rainy day and saw 3 waterfalls instead of one.

Beautiful waterfalls, but not necessarily worth the detour.

If you go along the river (3h return and water up to the top of the thighs) You will arrive at the foot of the waterfall. It is simply sublime, one of the best waterfall of NZ

Really cool waterfall, it's just such a pity that you are so far away from it! You just can't feel the magnitude of the falls or the power of the water from such a distance...

Beautiful waterfall. This starts the carpark superb holyford trek. It takes six days for the round trip and well worth it! Take a pass hut chimneys are saving after rain. There are seals martins bay and forest landscapes / lake / mountain / sea are beautiful. This valley with an extraordinary story explained in the panels of the huts!
