We did a Doubtful Sound Wilderness Cruise. We had good weather but getting closer to the tasman sea the weather changed and it was pouring rain. Its not so crowded and ours was the only boat in the sounds. We omce stopped to listen to the nature around us and everyone kept quiet. Lots of older people who are doing the cruise.

Don't let the beautiful photos impress you! The Tasman Lake is a wild climate. On the way there we had a great weather, it was raining in the Sound behind the mountain like I never saw it before! Bring waterproof clothing! But the Doubtfull Sound is impressive with any weather. Check for discounts on bookme.co.nz!
