Don't know what scene from Lord of the Rings this is. But regardless of that, a beautiful location. Optionally also from the bridge, which represents the start of the Kepler Track. The path through the forest is a must in sunny weather.
Recognise it from the opening scene. If you park at the beginning you can climb a steep path down to the river
It was great !!! Very nice view of the river. You can park 100m before and walk to the place, easy to find.
Looks quite like a shot in the Fellowship of the Ring. Wouldn't say it's the opening shot but definitely a shot about 2/3 through the film.
Don't get stuck in the mud!
Super beautiful. Small flat parking at 100 m. Then you will recognize the place. There is a rope to go down, if you feel like it.
Couldn’t recognize it ... Go to Queenstown. The river there looks way more like Anduin river though
Very pretty! Park in the little flat place by the gravel road on the right, take the path through the woods along the river (very easy and accessable, starts right where you park). Walk a few minutes, until you reach a break in the the trees. This is where the rope everyone mentions is, but you have a gorgeous view over the river just standing on the path.
Yes it is!!! Really like in the movie. There is a place to park your 100m before (flat). On the right. After go in the Forrest you will see the path everybody takes. You can also have a view at the begin of the gravel road on the right (maybe 200m)
Yep! Anduin river! Park just 100 or so yards up the path!
