2 sanitary blocks, 2 kitchens, hot showers, paid sauna. Site's are nice, some terrain uneven and some with lake view. Booked on the website for 25 dollars.
Terrible showers, kitchen and dining area too small for the number of campers present, even though it's off-season...
Paid $25 for an unpowered site. Very spacious. Good, clean facilities but main kitchen got quite crowded at meal times.
Very spacious, clean and quiet. Has unlimited hot showers, free wifi, well-stocked kitchens and a tv-room / lounge.
Lovely campsite with all the facilities you could need. Found the staff very friendly and helpful.
A pleasant campsite with historical treasures, but it was completely overbooked and therefore lacked infrastructure for its guests, with the kitchen and sanitary facilities being absolutely overcrowded. No hot water available at 8 pm. Wi-Fi was good.
Very very expensive for not so great resources. The reception staff is absolutely lovely and so kind. But $25 for small kitchen, no WiFi, and very run down bathrooms is a bit steep. There’s large rubbish bins and a dump station which is a nice touch. Small playground if you have children. Pretty views at a few select sites. Im assuming the price gouging is because they’re one of the only ones around.
Great setting, views, facilities ok but showers Need upgrading. Handy for doubtful sound trip and church bar also 15 mins walk. Nice beach/ cycle path along the lake, gorgeous!
Cute place, with easy access to the lake. 2 sanitary blocks, 2 kitchens, a lounge, hot showers, friendly staff… it’s a confortable place to stay. Site are nice, some with lake view. We weren’t bothered by the road at all. We recommend this place!
Campsite with great views. Plenty of space. Facilities are very outdated, especially the playground is no longer safe. The owner is a nice guy and was happy to show me a rock used in the Lord of the Rings. Campsite is great for Doubtfull Sound access, to swim in Lake Manapouri or to go to Te Anau.
