Excellent backpackers. Full kitchen, cosy sofas, warm and inviting. Friendly, groovy helpful staff. U will want to stay more than one night.. good wifi.

Pretty busy spot, was clean and walking distance to everything.

Hostel has good beds, a big and clean kitchen and community area, older but plenty and clean bathrooms. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin so you may wake up early because of noise. Steward Island is very beautiful. We hiked a track beside multiple stunning bays. But in our opinion the pricy ferry to the island is only worth it if you have clean skys to watch the stars in this dark sky sanctuary (we had clouds) or if you are a kiwi (bird) enthusiast who would like to book a kiwi watching tour.

Great place to stay in Stewart Island

A great hostel, the queen room is perfect for keeping warm in cold weather. The showers and toilets are clean and spacious. The common room has everything you need for cooking, a pool table, books, board games, and DVDs. The price is a little high, but everything is a bit expensive on the island. I highly recommend it!

Good vibes here! Clean room, good bed. Showers and toilets were clean and lots of space in the kitchen. We spotted a kiwi near the rugby field at dusk and one on the dirttrack behind the church?

Really nice Hostel with a big, clean Kitchen, hot showers cozy lounge room... The Dorms are fine too. If you wanna go a bit cheaper, you can stay in your tent for 20$ per Night! I really enjoyed my time here

Great hostel with very kind and friendly staff and good facilities. Highly recommend and great price per value. And unlimited WiFi that works very well.
