Really beautiful, small walk, super pretty, clear water, spiritual and sacred spot, can’t swim/ touch the water.
Amazing place. Something you have to see in person as photos can’t do it justice.
Nice walk, crystal clear water. As earlier mentioned: don’t expect too much. Still nice though.
Went to Waikoropupu Springs today and OMG. We didn’t get there until later in the afternoon but the walk itself is amazing. You are surrounded by fast moving beautiful clear rivers and bubbling brooks. The forest and trees and bird life are all around you and it’s very serene. You then get out to the springs to see the full force of the water pushing up through the sands. It is fairly deep so to see that much disturbance on the surface really makes you appreciate how beautiful nature really is. We visited the blue pools just outside Wanaka (which were green) but these pool and the crystal clear vibrant life that lives in them totally outshone the blue pools.
Beautiful and sacred place. Easy walk and well maintained track/path. Water is everywhere in streams and rivers going alongside and near to the track and everywhere it's crystal clear. Native birds also enjoying the bush. Heavenly experience.
Magical even on a cloudy day & probably even more spectacular in the sunshine! This is a sacred place so do not touch the water
Such a peaceful atmosphere ... But don't expect too much.
You have to go see them when there is sun otherwise it is disappointing
Absolutely stunning on a sunny day! So glad we went to have a look.
Very pretty, worth a visit!
