I had an excellent stay here! Camped in my Campervan for the night and went for a horse ride the next day and it was fabulous! Nice hot shower and clean facilities. Would definitely recommend

Very good. Very beautiful grounds. Beautifully landscaped with love. Spacious. Firefly forest. Very clean showers and toilets. German owner. No Wi-Fi. 4G phone reception.

We spent 3 nights there and had a great time! The beach was nearby, and we even went to see the glowworms in the evening – so cool! ;) Everything we needed was there, we highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay! Clean hot showers and toilets. Kitchen was well equipped and clean. Quick beach walk with glow worms, fruit trees right next to the site! The staff were really kind aswell. They even have a swimming lake with rope swing. The signs and art everywhere are so cute and charming. Definitely a nice stay along this highway. Paid 52$ for 2 people unpowered. Had good phone signal with spark

One of my favourite spots in New Zealand so far. Such a lovingly set-up campsite, with wonderful people and stunning surroundings. We just couldn’t bring ourselves to leave and ended up staying for several nights. One of my absolute highlights was the walk to the beach — and the beach itself!

One of my favorite stays here in New Zealand. Bärbel is a wonderful host. We also went horseback riding. Bärbel took a lot of time for us. We even saw glowworms in the forest. Beautiful place. It's worth spending two nights here to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend this place. :)

Lovely campsite, very welcoming even late and in the rain, clean and very functional toilets and kitchens!

Really lovely experience! The facilities are very clean, the staff and horses are super friendly, and the place has a home-like, relaxing atmosphere with a unique, quirky vibe. We’d happily return again!

Great campsite and facilities. Wonderful showers. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about her horses and wanted the best for them. Went in a mixed group of riders and all were taken of very well. Thoroughly recommend for camping and a horse ride
