This was an awesome walk today. Caves are fun with a torch, Lake at the Dam great picinic spot, lots of native flora & birds. Just take care on the track, scraped the tread board at the back being 7m! Recommend 6m or less and make sure your house is clear at the bottom. Park by the large rock formations just past the farm and walk if unsure. Don't attempt after heavy rainfall!

The walk and the caves are very nice. But it's not worth the 1 kilometer gravel road (well, pebble road). We were really not reassured.

The coolest caves we’ve seen and we’ve done a lot! A must stop. We did the loop and it took us around 3 hours with exploring the caves. Definitely wear boots as it’s really muddy and a headlamp to explore! There are ropes available to get down the caves so keep an eye out for them.

Very cool walk, caves are quite big and the first one seems to go on quite far! Walk up to the dam is worth it for the pretty lake. Return via 4WD track has some nice views but Very muddy, so wouldn't recommend unless you've got good boots. Also recommended to wear pants as lots of knee-high gorse growing over the track.

Loved this walk! The road is in good condition, but it does have some clusters of avoidable pot holes. Ok with my Toyota estima. Park at the “park here” sign before you enter the farm. 4WD is only necessary pat this point which you can walk instead of driving (only 400m to trailhead from gate). Nice views from the trail of the surrounding mountains on a clear day. From the loop, there is a side track that takes you to a reservoir & dam (1hr 20min return according to the sign). Caves are one of the most fragile ecosystems on earth and take millions of years to form. Oil from our fingers destroys the growth of stalactites/stalagmites/cave pillars, so touch as little as possible when you are inside the caves.

Caves were super cool. Walk was eorth it for the caves. Walk there was a little longer than 45 on a hot summers day as its uphill and little shade cover. Probably more like 55min/1 hour to get there but 40 minutes to walk back.

These caves were amazing! Don’t be afraid to get a bit dirty, it is well worth the adventure! Don’t forget to take a good head torch

At Gravel Road, I was glad that nobody came to meet me. Dodge I could not have. The way to the caves was partly steep, but ok. In the first cave I am only up to the ladder. Is not for people with vertigo. Still, it would be fun to think so. Flashlight and non-slip shoes are a must. 2. Cave right, I was only briefly in it. Then go hiking there. So you can spend the whole day there.

The road to upper carpark is fine as long you have as much clearance as a Subaru or better! ? Hike to caves is a washed out old road, mellow uphill walk, not really sure why others are complaining about this if they want to go scramble through caves. We did it in 30 minutes walking fast. Caves are really cool and do connect through a muddy secret path.
