Very nice little holiday park right of collingwoods main road. Nice big spaces and a small but clean and well stocked kitchen and common area. They do only have one power strip for charging devices so snag an outlet early if you need one. They’re not on a great beach for swimming but it was lovely to look out on and great for shell hunting. Staff was very sweet and helpful.
Highly recommend this campsite! Friendly owners. Very clean- excellent showers with plenty hot water. Laundry good. Large pitch overlooking the bay which was delightful! Small supermarket in village. Great location for Farewell Spit tours.
The showers alone were worth the cost of the site!
Lovely place. Good facilities, great location.
Loved this campsite! The staff was so kind to let us check in on Christmas Day by ourselves via an envelope on the receptiondoor. Couldn't imagine a better spot to celebrate christmas. Could park with our campervan right at the seaside. We even saw a seal swimming next to us! From the campsite you can walk directly to a small beach with driftwood. The campsite is really clean, friendly people, spaces were more than big enough (our campervan is 7.4m long) and they have nice communal areas.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this campsite. It was the best we stayed at during our three-month stay. The pitches are very spacious, and each one is equipped with a bench and table. The showers are fantastic (hot and unlimited). The kitchen is clean (cleaned twice a day with fresh tea towels) and superbly equipped. But the best thing is the owners. They helped us without hesitation when we had an engine oil problem! Kindness and helpfulness still mean something here!!
Unpowered site $40 (2 people) Unisex showers which were hot Very windy place Camp kitchen bit outdated but was fine.
A nice location and the guy who checked us in was was very helpful. Gravel site near the water has great views but can be more exposed to the wind (nothing can be done about that). Nice kitchens, hobs are a bit slow but still functional. Big modern fridge freezers! Laundry is good but the highlight is the toilet block! Individual unisex toilets/showers which are by far the best ever come across in 10 days of driving around the islands! Hot, really powerful, clean and free!! Great site!
Stayed here for 1 night on the way back from Cape Farewell (about an hours drive away). Powered site $60 - waterside pitch / sea view - absolutely brilliant - wish we’d had time to stay longer! Friendly welcoming staff / owners. Very clean unisex toilets / showers and facilities. Great WiFi and phone signal. Look out for the owners really friendly Staffordshire Bull Terrier!
One of the best campsites we’ve stayed on over the last 5 weeks! A great base for exploring Cape Farewell and the spit. Waterfront gravel powered site $60 (2 adults) - with amazing views across to the Farewell Spit. Staff welcoming and friendly. Very clean unisex showers and toilets. WiFi excellent. Local shops, eatery and a tavern within easy walking distance. The on site Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a very friendly dog too! Highly recommended.
