Absolutely insanely view from the top (realy amazing if the sun comes down or reflect in the water). The way is realy steap, be careful when you going down (i would not go up with “little” / “middle” children, if you‘re afraid of hights, you’re not fit or if it‘s wet, but if everything fits it‘s a insanely great view on the top! I would recommend to do that!!!) [there‘s a handrail/„chain“ to the complete way to the top, so don’t worry]

Very steep (rather climbing at the end), but such a pretty view over New Plymouth!

Nice big rock beside the port/industrial side of town you can hike up. We decided not to climb it after spotting some dodgy characters in the car park, could have happened anywhere so we used common sense and moved on.
