Stayed for just one night after our journey from the Wellington ferry. Very easy to find. Great campsite with clean toilets and two powerful showers. Other than the owner and a couple of resident vans we had the site to ourselves. Very peaceful despite its proximity to the road. Wish we had more time as I could have stayed a few days. Amazing value for money.
We chose to stay here instead of Martinborough with our 3 children in our RV. It was half the price of where we originally planned to stay. Good hot showers. Loads of space, huge sites. Tony greeted us upon arrival and we had a good chat about our travel plans. He was happy to share his knowledge which was very helpful.

Amazing campground, on the ranch, where they have horse races. Owner super friendly, facilities are clean and recent construction, hot shower, beautiful location, river to swim !!

This was our first stop first ever campervan trip and it was so easy. Power points, water, flat, easy access, good price and the toilet&shower facilities are very clean, enough hooks in the shower, lovely warm water&good pressure. Cool river nearby to explore.
One of the best fee for two in a campervan we have stayed at. Immaculate toilets and showers better than many houses for pressure! Big open field so plenty of space. Pub at the end of the driveway does open mic night on a Thursday.
Wow, what a beautiful campsite! It is open and the owner is lovely. Nice large, level pitches and gorgeous facilities with spotless flushing toilets and unlimited hot showers. Absolutely worth a stay if you're in the area. We were here for a wedding and it was much cheaper to stay here than worry about taxis or local accommodation. 5 stars :)

We went here after a freedom camping ground had so many flies on the toilet. We couldn’t find the honesty box because it was already dark, so we booked online. A nice motorhomer asked as the next day if we found the honesty box. The toilets are very big and clean and the most important: with water and without flies. It’s kinda eerie in the night to be honest. But altogether a really nice, lost, place.
