Nice lookout at the top of the pass, but no café. That's a few miles to Wellington or back to Featherston.

Nice look out, there are also walks to do, I recommend the short one (it says 1h but it took us 20 min to climb an less to get down) and it's ? ! We did it on a cloudy day, I can't imagine how pretty it would be under the sun, you get to see Wairarapa lake when you arrive on top ! Loved it!

There is no longer a cafe at the summit

Great lookout! You should definitely stop for a couple of minutes and just enjoy the view.

Wonderful spot! Great view! Unfortunately the visitors use it us a toilet so it smells a bit after urin.
