Never got an email back (>2h ago begin afternoon) and no one at the office. We're heading to another place.

We arrived after checking in hours after completing the nearby escarpment track (beautiful but scary if you are afraid of heights). As we had pre-paid for our site we already had a site number which they let us know about previously via email. All info was pinned on the board outside reception for us. Private shower and toilet in a hut at your site. Had kitchen facilities and a picnic bench outside to eat. 2 minutes away from the beach, windy but would recommend a sunset looking over Kapiti Island.

Bookings need to be done in advance, other than that, seamless checkin, and cute tiny little shower and toilet huts at each site, no non powered, and for one person was still $52. Power points in each bathroom hut as well. Heaps of long term residents, but they all keep to themselves. Great spot close to beach. Cheers

Empty reception even at opening hours, not answering phone. Don’t bother driving there

Honestly, we paid 52$ (2 ppl) for what exactly? No wifi, only in the kitchen (which was at the other end of the camp). The toilet was outdated, chipped wall colour, roof was mouldy. Kitchen was ok but communication with the owners was difficult. No one was in the office at any time during our stay, they wanted us to pay by bank transfer (which would have cost me another 18$ coming from europe...) despite stating on their website that you could pay by card. We ended up leaving cash in the bathroom... Short walk to the beach, spacious sites, but not worth the money.

Make sure you book bia email way in advance. We showed up at 17.00 an no one was there

The luxury of having your own toilet and shower is worth the price !

Nice campground, just a short walk to the beach. All sites are powered and have their own toilet and shower. The bathrooms are pretty dated, but that was all good, they’re clean and tidy with good water pressure.

Nice quiet camp. Good having our own personal shower and toilet even if dated. Long term residents friendly. NO dump station here
