Summarizing my experience from August 2025: - the owner is a drunkard - the lady who helps him is unpleasant - access to the refrigerator is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. - which did not suit me at all

As Ricky Bobby says “if you ain’t first you’re last” and Paeroa RV Centre is certainly a first choice stay! Paeroa is a neat wee town to explore, or you can spend your days hanging with The Caretakers. Happy Hour (byob) everyday at 4, full amenities, $2 hot shower for 5 min, and unmatched hospitality. Jane and Steve are the best!!

What a great base for cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail! We stayed three nights and really enjoyed the experience of camping here within the grounds of RV homes and beautiful gardens. Denise and Milton, one set of caretakers, are friendly, personable, helpful, good-humoured and kind. The showers are powerful and hot, very welcome at the end of a day’s cycling! The outdoor kitchen is very well-equipped; the Community Lounge open to all; the free garden produce a lovely bonus.

We really liked it! The owner found us a last little place while they were full. Hot shower for $2 for 5min, $4 for a washing machine (you can let it dry on the drying racks provided). The owners are very nice.

Very nice owners. Clean showers and free wifi. Excellent for a one night stay. Bit noisy at night and don’t expect any nice scenary as it is essentially a trucker parking lot.
