We arrived late in evening March 1. There were still some spots available. The gas station was closed so we paid the $10 in the morning. Although next to the road it was still rather quiet. The toilet is nearby with lights all night. Some spots had power for the larger camper homes. There's a woolworth around the corner and a dump station.

Perfect, we arrived in March at 7 pm and there were plenty of free spots. As mentioned by previous reviewers, there's a $10 fee at the Caltex station, which I personally think is perfectly reasonable (I'm surprised there are so many completely free campsites, considering how many campers there are these days). There's a toilet, and it's perfectly fine.

$10 total for a powered spot and next to a toilet/dump/water station is a bargain! Must be around 20 or so parking spaces. There are 6 hookups. Easy to pay at the Caltex. Not the most scenic and you get quite a lot of people pulling in all times of the night/morning (sometimes with loud music), but for the price is worth it. Advise to park as far away from the toilets as possible to lessen the noise.

At first glance it looks very solid, there are toilets, a sewage station, electricity connection, rubbish bins. However, unlike what is stated here, it is not free. Regardless of whether you have a power connection or not, you have to pay $10 for all seats at Celtex (once across the street).

Lots of toilets and 24/7 open. Lots of parking spots. I felt quite safe, besides a person during the morning who seemed to be walking around and check out the vans to.check out where to get or steal something. So please stay curious and aware!

Awesome !! We landed on an electrical site and only paid $5 at the Caltex station to connect! 😁 Calm night, from 8 a.m. the road becomes noisier Toilet right next door Truly perfect! This is the cheapest campsite we have done while being connected! Countdown / city center 5 minutes walk!

10/10!!! Paid in the Caltex for the overnight ticket to display on our windscreen and this included power!! Dump station and water taps right beside the site. Toilets seemed well maintained and clean. Busy area we got the last powered site. (A friday night)

Busy traffic during the day, however very quiet at night. Public toilets are clean, well stocked with paper, soap and dryer. At least six paid powered sites - pay and display Hauraki District Council permit on your dash. Pay $5/day at Caltex. Supermarket, liquor wholesale and pub around the corner. Note the pub does not cook meals. A short stroll away down the high street to cafes, restaurants, RSA, Ōhinemuri Club, and One3One bar. Also several antique/second hand stores.
