Free to stay the night in the parking lot after (or before) visiting the geothermal park. The view from the parking lot is the front of the geothermal area across the lake. Overnight visitors can also use the wifi, the terrasse and one of the toilets.
A wonderful place to stay the night in a self-contained motorhome! If of course you have a ticket for the park or will buy it the next morning. Beautiful views of the park that we visited early next morning. Early morning is the best time to visit the park. The staff was very friendly to leave a toilet open to use. No shower available. When the park opens, there is also a cafe. There is even Wifi available.
Super friendly staff that even leaves a toilet open over night to use. All you need is to buy a ticket to visit the geothermal park (can also do it the day after). It's ideal to visit the park early in the morning. There were only eight people in the park at the time spread across the 2.5km trail. So, we practically had it to ourselves. 10/10 place to camp at.
LOVED this place! Beautiful view of geyser field from carpark where we camped. You can camp here overnight if you visit the geyser park, and it’s well worth for both. No showers but toilets were nicest we’ve had and staff are super friendly. Also wifi
It's the best. It's very quiet, so you have good privacy, and thanks to staying overnight, I got to see the geyser explode three times across the river. Plus, you can see the stars really well. The restrooms are open for campers, and there are plenty of flat spots. The bathroom is also very comfortable. I would like to give it 12 out of 10.
So incredibly great, we spent the night in the parking lot and visited the geothermal park the next morning and the view from the camper was super beautiful and absolutely worth it! The clean toilets were left open for the campers and the employees were very nice. The entire experience with the morning in the parking place was very worth it.
Magical place both for visiting the site and for its possibility of free camping facing the silica sea. We are alone in this green setting. The best spot we had for camping and the most impressive site! A must do absolutely!!
A lovely place to stay the night! There was only one other camper while we stayed. Felt very safe, though. It was very quiet at night. We're not sure if the toilets would have been open without the other camper staying there as we arrived late. Better call them if you arrive late and make sure they leave the toilets unlocked. Visited the thermal park early the next morning. Only a few people at that time. Worth the early start!
Absolute recommendation! Super great and quiet place to stay overnight with a view of the lake and the steaming thermal terraces. The entire facility is very clean and well maintained, as are the toilets, which were accessible all night during our stay. The trip to the thermal park the next morning is a great opportunity to enjoy this special natural spectacle in peace and to explore it extensively, far away from the crowds of tourists. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience that was totally worth it!
Nice place! Toilets are open and wifi works great.
