I really enjoyed the Farm and Forest Adventures! The owner Jane is a very warm lady and is always ready to help. There was no shortage of things. The shower and toilet are good. The hike through the forest to the beach was really a lot of fun. It's a must-do. I really felt very comfortable there.

What a lovely place to stay! If you're looking for a peaceful campsite with that remote & close to nature feeling this is the place. We were the only ones staying and it was a welcome break from busy holiday parks. We highly recommend this farmstay campsite! :) Good to know: just drive up to the address (red postbox) and try to get a hold of the hostess Jane, WhatsApp calling worked fine for us with only an internet simcard. Good internet reception with Spark. No WiFi, No potable water, no Elec.

What a great place to stay. So peaceful and right next to a forest and of course some friendly farm animals. Great for nature lovers, walkers and a perfect place for some peace and quiet. Only an hour from Auckland. The host was so welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend you stay here.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet - this place is perfect! We loved feeling alone in the middle of nowhere - single shower and toilet, no potable water. If you’re going to stay here get there early enough to walk to the beach or plan on heading there next morning. If the weather is rainy, be prepared that your van might have a tough time - but if it does, rest assured the AMAZING owners are there to help with anything you need. THANK YOU Chris!!

It was such a lovely spot to spend the night. Beautiful location very easy to find, nice facility's, beautiful hosts. I can only say good things! Wish all farm stays were like this one! Thank you

We spent our first night here after taking over the camper. Jane is a very warm host who took the time to show us everything and give us good tips. The place is quietly located between meadows and forests, just right for a good arrival in New Zealand. A walk through the forest to the beach is also recommended.

We stayed at Chris and Jane's campsite for a few days. The campsite is really cosy. The shower is free and warm and we were almost always alone on the campsite. We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view, beautiful hills with cows and sunshine.☀️ We could also see the cute donkeys. The sea is also very close by. We were warmly welcomed and would come back any time.

Beautiful property to explore, so much to see and a very cute bit of land to setup camp, amazing forest so close by and very nice hosts. Would definitely recommend!

Spent 2 nights here and of our 4 amazing campsites on the North Island, this was our favorite. A peaceful farm getaway close to Auckland with a flush toilet, warm shower, washing up sink, and sun/rain shelter. You’re on a field between cows and a forest. The owners are lovely, the cows are curious, and the donkeys are adorable. Close to forest walks, the beach, and a cute town.

Highly recommend! We stayed one night at the farm and loved it. A peaceful place, lovely animals and a cozy atmosphere! Amazing black sand beach within a walking distance.
