Lot of stairs, but nice view on the top

We enjoyed this walk very much, but ooooh, the stairs! Thankfully, there are lots of benches to rest along the way. ;) As it's not mentioned in the description: you can choose between shorter walks (e.g. Only to the Kauri Grove, ~25 min), a loop walk to the upper lookout (1500 stairs/200m, ~1.5-2 hours return) and day walks (~ 6-7 hours). Please don't touch the Kauri trees and their roots!

Nice hike to do on our last full day in NZ. Just a small detour off Hwy 2 heading back to Auckland ??
