Don’t be fooled by the pictures - these are very outdated and are nothing like what the place looks like now. Very run down and no longer looked after, do not pay to stay here keep driving!

Very poorly managed & maintained. Single traveller, $36 for a grassy patch & pools/slide entrance. Arrived at 2.00pm on a Sunday & went straight for a swim. Not enough people showed up for them to open the slides once. The two pools are poor at best & water was covered in wasps. Rude man at the counter suggested if I paid for several pools passes ($18 pp, I could slide.) It's the worst pool I've been to, and up there with one of the worst campgrounds & facilities. Not recommended

I was here two nights ago, when I went to book in I was a little concerned as the place appeared to be very run down. I stayed for about 2 hours and left as the afternoon went on I felt very uncomfortable amd really did not feel safe. I left. It was $35 uncovered site. To be honest do not go here. Go to Raglan or somewhere else. Do not be fooled by the pictures. This place is a dive.

The place we (tent+car) stood was on a terrace, a good place to see the mountains! The pools were not busy and we liked to swim every afternoon. We have been reading about insects in the water, but not at our moments! We enjoyed the pools. The hotel next to it is old, but we liked it. Looks like an old western saloon. We have been eating there and we enjoyed the food (a wrap+steak).

No good things to say about this place. This is where holidays come to die. $36 for just myself in a campervan. What an absolute rip off. No wifi, no detergent, no soap. Piles of junk. Both of the two female toilets don’t have working latches on them so got walked in on TWICE (seriously how hard is it to put a new latch on the door?) Long term residents are messy. Didn’t feel totally safe like I have for the last 3 weeks solo campervanning as a female. Run down, bad vibes. Do not stay here

2/10 place is a bit of a joke and the pricing is absurd. Lady at reception is super nice though.

This place is disgusting, the pictures are years out of date. Expensive too, one shower block not working, all bins overflowing, scaffolding on building. Music until the early hours. We only used this vile place as everywhere else was full. Now we know why. DO NOT STAY HERE

It’s overpriced and not like in the pics, only two polls work, toilets are dirty and no toilet paper and everything’s looks run down

Lovely evening soaks in wonderful piping hot clean pool. Staff very friendly, and old facilities kept very clean and tidy.

Friendly reception employees, pools very busy. Camping fee includes pool access. Pools have one men’s and one ladies cold shower. Enjoyed the hot water. Campground very so-so, very poorly appointed showers, permanent undesirable caravans, muddy, no mobile reception, worse still NO WiFi. C and D camping areas quiet at night, larger E close to traffic. Would we stay again? No, consider just for a swim and fully self contained overnight. Pub next door excellent, lovely owners, same landlord as the pools
