The short walk is worth taking as a short break and offers a beautiful view of the river. Then comes the cool short tunnel (a few glowworms on the ceiling), and shortly after that, a suspension bridge (only reopened in 2024) with a view of the river, a beautiful white bridge, and you can also see the old railway bridge. The second bridge is still closed, so donations are requested (so feel free to bring some money and drop it in). At the beginning, there's also information about the old railway line.
The bridges are still closed but the old tunnel is in front of the bridges and therefore accessible. The nice walk is +-700m en shows a few glowworms and a bit spooky tunnel. Let your eyes get used to the dark to see the worms glow.
Were there during the day ... Unfortunately we couldn't see any fireflies!
Very nice short walk but nice bridges are still closed but with the waters you can understand. That said, the path is nice and the tunnel can make glow worms appear if you open your eyes in daylight.
Short walk (15 mins). The walk to the tunnel is great. Beautiful rocks along the path overgrown with moss and plants. Yes the bridges are closed but the part until the first bridge is the best of the walk anyway.
Bridges closed for safety reasons... (27/04/19)
Beautiful walk, but no glow worms
You can walk to the tunnel but after that the bridges are closed due to safety issues
It’s open. You can easily go to the railway tunnel and there are quite a few glow worms :)
Not closed for glowworms. Think the bridge is further than the cave. Nice short walk and there were glowworms there
