Fantastic bang for your buck! Dave is lovely, especially his puppy!! Great, quiet, relaxing spot tucked in the valley, accompanied by roosters, cows, and sheep choirs all around. A great sleep, shower, and stargazing while we tented. Will definitely recommend!!
Superb little campsite, very basic but thankfully, much less crowded. Spotless showers, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large lounge. For $10 per person. Highly recommended.
Great place to stay, lovely area and the accom was excellent value for money
Remember to bring cash, as they don't take credit cards. Too bad for us 🥲
Very nice Campsite in an old school. The facilities are a little old but you have got everything you need. The showers are hot, you have a fridge and freezer, a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space. For $10 (unpowered) the best you can get.
What a lovely spot. Welcomed by Dave and he showed us around the old school. Kitchen, lounge, and hot showers and all that for 10 dollars per person. There are even bunk rooms where you can stay. We are very impressed and recommended to every one . We decided to stay two nights in the double bed instead of sleeping in the station wagon! Whe spoiled ourselves. Ada and Klaas from NL
Old school converted into a holiday park, plenty of space around the back for campers. Only 10nzd for an uncovered site including hot shower, fully equipped kitchen and a lounge. Friendly hosts, would definitely stay here again if I was in the area
Absolute gem on the west coast! Heaps of parking space, hot showers, clean toilet block outside, wifi, communal room with couches, tv, tables…and equipped kitchen! Unpowered site for $10! Totally worth it, amazing and well run place. Loved it here!
What a lovely campground! Located at an old school, you have a lot of space, a common living area with DVD collection and TV, books, a kitchen with all the amenities you need. For 10 $/ person/night you also get unlimited hot showers, WiFi and very kind hosts. There's also a playground for children. Charming Creek Track and Chasm Creek Trek ( with glowworm tunnel at night:) are close by. Highly recommend this campground!
In an old school. The hosts are very welcoming. Kitchen and sanitary facilities clean but a little rustic. It's quite disorienting, it feels like we're going back 50 years. Really cheap $10/person and night for the service. It's worth the detour.
