Five stars. We doubled our intended stay we loved it so much. Great night sky, sunsets over the sea, amazing wildlife encounters, fab facilities, great coffee, great relaxing space.

Best campsite ever!! Great showers. Everything was perfect.

$38 for two on 1 unpowered, we stayed near the seaside section and could walk to the beach in 2 secs however there were lots of sandflies. Amenities are new, very cool (hot) outdoor showers -$2 for 5 mins. $4 for washer/dryer. Has a cafe onsite, didn’t try the wifi but the camp lounge has the best connection. 2 bars of 4GCute little campground! Wish I could eradicate sandflies and it would make it a 10/10 spot!!!

Gentle Annie’s was a DREAM! Peaceful, charming, clean, inviting, right on the ocean. We didn’t get a chance to try the hot tubs or pizza ovens but the dinner service (burgers) was amazing and so was the coffee. The outdoor showers are so much fun and the laundry machines actually worked 😂 one of my favorite places we stayed on our 2 week vacation! Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Amazing! Best campsite we’ve ever stayed at…great food & coffee at the cowshed, plenty of space even when it’s busy & a bonus of a Sauna (temporary) & hot tub on site. Staff are lovely & welcoming too!

I had the best stay at Gentle Annies! Lots of Wekas too Wifi works just close to the facilities but had good signal

my absolute favorite camp on the south island. was recommended to me by friends and I'm glad i came here. had a great stay. there is nothing I missed. I can totally understand the 2$ for the hot shower due to the remoteness and the resulting water shortage. clean facilities, relaxed peaceful atmosphere and nice staff. thank you very much!
