Really busy at 1830, very uneven ground to park on. No space for a bigger 4 berth. We left and went to Whakaipo Bay Freedom Camping Area instead (on campermate) which was perfect.
Very small camper spots (we were the only ones there, so we had room, but otherwise small). Toilet building only 2 showers, of which one behind a locked door. The other only a shower curtain. It was dirty. We stayed for 2 days, toilet and shower facilities werend cleaned once during that time. Water in shower overflows. Kitchen was okay.
Cleanest bathrooms we have been to! Hair dryer and straightener provided in female bathroom
