Small campground. It gets busy so don’t expect privacy.
This was the best wild night we had out in Tasmania. If you can get the spot at the end of the track on it's own you will be treated to wonderful lake vistas morning and night. No facilities at all so you must be self contained.
Closed at the moment due to roadworks
Beautiful but small. Nice a private and not far from main road.
Wonderful spot, two super top spots facing the river but really nice all around. Be responsible and don't litter!
Arrive early for a good spot. The lake is superb!
We arrived late and didn't get a good spot. Though we took our chairs to the lake from which we had amazing views and sun warning us. Lovely.
Stunning spot - spectacular view. No amenities. Road a bit rough but only short. Only space for 2-4 campers. Kids loved the lake for a play.
Nice campsite easily accessible from the highway but very quiet at night. Can go swimming in the lake and there's nice views of Mt. Murchison from one of the sites. There's probably 5/6 tent sites and more space for vans dotted around. Wasn't too busy when we were there. No toilets (or anything) but no sign stating self-contained only. Just don't be grim by pooing in the area, you give the rest of us a bad image. 4 stars.
The best view we have had so far. No rubbish, no trash can, no amenities, just 3/4 spots at a truly beautiful place. The first part of the road was very bumpy for our camper van but totally worth it.
