This was our first campsite and we were very impressed with the facilities . Views were lovely if you book by the water. It’s spacious but WiFi isn’t the best. Also a lovely path that goes all along the front

We were here for a quick night on our travels south. Friendly staff. Facilities are sufficient but nothing special. The general vibe not that great compared to other campgrounds. All in all, decent stop on our travels. Would not recommend for longer stays (unless visiting Auckland).

Our first camping experience was here, and we loved it. Paul is super friendly, the showers and toilets were clean. Everything you need is there. The location is beautiful, right on the front row! We'd love to come back!

Good basic campsite but I have to say the real highlight is the people! Everyone is so friendly here, restoring our faith in the friendliness of strangers! Good bathrooms and flat sites. Kitchen has a bit of an ant problem but everything else good.

Nice sopt directly at the 2km beach. Kitchen so lala but clean. Nice friendly team.

Nice camping with a perfect spot on the beach. Recommended!

Our favorite site so far. Great view of the beach paved footpath along it leading into the town. Loads of cafes and restaurants shops available. Surfing lessons on the beach and places to sit and eat outside in the shade. Toilet facilities are good hairdryer in the women's. Dump station is a little tight but a really great spot. Didn't notice the noise in out MH at night with the windows open.

Clean facilities and easy location for a lot of restaurants and beach front walks .Big downside noise from road behind site, heavy track cars and bigger all night resulted in very little sleep.Lots of congestion around dump station and difficult to manoeuvre in close.

Nice place right on the beach and not far to restaurants etc. Place relatively touristy. It was quite busy on the weekend but in mid-January there was still some space available without a reservation.

Si arrivée après 18h n'y allait pas, malgré le numéro sur la porte pour les arrivées après 18h personne ne décroche. Nous avons fait demi-tour.
