Good and clean campsite

Decent place with concrete campervan sites which helps after so much rain. The girls at reception were very friendly snd helpful. Bathrooms and kitchen were ok but shoeing thier age a bit, although very clean. Worst and most annoying bit is the 500mb max WIFI you get given, I mean come on, get with the times, this literally lasted 20 mins. The coverage on site without isn’t great either, can’t believe we still live in times where wifi isn’t free for all at some places!

Nice campsite, close to the beach and not too far from the town centre. Facilities were good but small, when it's busier I expect it would be difficult to cook in the kitchen.

Great place, with lots of long-term tenants. Reception very professional. Facilities (showers, men's toilets) are showing their age and need a refresh. But clean.

The place is perfect. Bathroom, kitchen everything clean and sufficient. Staff friendly. Loud cinema program for children in the evening from 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, far too loud. And also other users who impose their taste in music on all guests. It's a shame because otherwise it would have been the perfect place.

Most expensive camp ground we stayed at during two weeks in May 2024. For the price, low numbers of facilities (4 unisex toilets, 3 unisex showers) for the 20 beachside site, kitchen had awful smell, and wi-fi allocation (500 MB) low compared to other locations. Okay as a one night close to Auckland.

Huge campsite with mostly permanent residents but fortunately we place travelers in the same section. Impeccable, clean and recent toilets and showers. Kitchen a little small as well as the dining/living room. Many spend their last night there before returning home, judging by the large quantity of food given. As most of the North Island campsites we have visited have been quite ugly, this one stands out.

Very nice place!! Pleasantly quiet. Everything is very clean and tidy. Very nice staff. We were able to stay until 12pm the next day (we had to return our camper in Auckland, but not until the afternoon), even though the place was fully booked.

We booked one night and arrived around 6 p.m. We had booked a “Park View Powered Site with Pad” (some still available upon arrival). However, we got a grassy spot on a sloping hill. Pro: Very friendly reception upon arrival. We were just too tired to complain.
