Beautiful trees. Plenty of clean restrooms. But lots of mosquitoes. And above all, it's very difficult to book online without an account, as the verification process is very complicated, especially if you have limited mobile data and are a foreigner. I arrived at 6:30 PM and finally managed to pay at 7:30 PM!

Fantastic place to stay and plenty of room. Great value for the price. Two clean toilet blocks. Lots of walking tracks, a beach with surf lifesavers on duty. Beautiful!

Excellent spot, lots of space, toilets available next to the camp, but also near the cold showers on the beach side. Shared barbecues available, drinking water fountain, possibility of washing dishes. Good telephone reception. Very nice hikes nearby, very pretty place.

Beautiful place to spend a night, there were only 2 other campervans aside from us. Made the booking online via Auckland’s CSC website. Clean toilets, drinking water available.

Loved this site to stop for the night Jan 2024. Beautiful beach and river estuary all around. Lovely short and longer walks. Loads of space and easy to book online, $17 per vehicle. Good 4G signal. Outdoor shower, BBQs and water fountains.

Beautiful place to stay. Close to beach with lovely water-temperature, and big trees. Found the payment online a bit difficult, but maybe it's because we checked in late at night (22.00).

Open for camping with plenty of space. Lovely walks to the beach with birds everywhere, clean toilets, and clean drinking water

Lovely spot to stop overnight. Very beautiful regional park, with a great circular walk around the beach. Toilets were clean and public electric BBQs saved our dinner when we ran out of gas! We were the only ones here for the night so very quiet - just had the ducks for company!
