Stepping into the campsite facilities felt like stepping back in time! I enjoyed the time capsule experience. Super cheap at $15 per person for an unpowered site. Showers nice and warm, you get a token for a 7 min shower. Kitchen seemed a bit unclean but just gave our area a quick wipe down before we got started cooking. Staff were helpful and friendly, other residents also friendly. I wouldn’t stay here again, preferring to stay somewhere closer to the beach but it did the job for the night!
Rude staff and terrible service
Campsite near town. Shower token included in the price. There are many long-term residents. It's good if you can find a clean place in the fridge. It was ok for one night.
Facilities are in desperate need of an update and a very good clean. Mouse traps on kitchen shelves etc quite unhygienic
Nice park, near some nice swimming spots and a lovely walk to the beach. Shower tokens given on arrival. Facilities were a little dated and fridges could do with a clean out. Would happily stay again.
It was ok for one night. Unfortunately, the showers were cold and there were moldy things in the kitchen. Some long-term residents were to be found.
Fantastic holiday park! Great value for money with Wifi for multiple devices, clean facilities, shower tokens within the price. Would highly recommend!
We booked online and took a chance as all the other sites in and near Opotiki were either closed or full. Helpful staff, pool was good to cool down in. As others have said it’s a bit care worn and could do with a spruce up and a bit more regular cleaning.
Campsite is all in all okay. It’s old but fair in case of the price the charge you. Also the facility’s are working without a problem.
Great little camp, kitchen ok just a bit on the old side but clean and good rates Brian McGlade
