Quiet and peaceful place to stay. The Dryer was working when we arrived. The owners where super friendly and due to the rain we where even allowed, to stay on a powered-site, to have a shorter way through the rain.
Quiet, nice, has all the amenities we needed in our camper van. Would def recommend shower shoes here as people track in dirt and debris from outside and the shower room is small.
Fairlie campsite suited us for a short stay. Toilets and showers are good. Kitchen is more than adequate. No kid play area. It is basic and very convenient for a quick stopover.
We've spent 2 nights here and it's a pleasant spot to relax and do nothing. Its well presented. The facilities are dated but work as they should. The dump site is still unserviceable but there is an alternative 2km away so not a problem.
Dissappointed, in need of some tlc. We booked here to catch up on laundry and firm up plans for a few days. Firstly you have to pay for wifi, which ran out after a couple of hours. Secondly the laundry was out if order so we had to sit in the local lauderette for 2.5 hours. Thirdly the dump station was out of order. The bathrooms needed some updating. On the positive side, the kitchen area was big and clean, very busy. All in all not a great experience.
Dumpstation and Dryer out of order. For WiFi you need to pay extra. Because of the bank holiday quite busy and not very clean.
It was a nice place. We were welcomed warmheartedly. The kitchen facilities were nice and clean, the TV lounge was comfy. The bathrooms were okay - I was missing some toilet brushes and also a sign to tell people to leave the door open after a shower - Otherwise the bathroom had 100% humidity... I would camp here again :)
It was good place to stay overnight @ powered site for motorhome. Welcoming and helpful staff
Dump station out of order. Need to drive past golf course for dumping.
Good value for money, friendly receptionist. Note: no Wi-Fi unless you pay for it!
