Beautiful camping spot. Be aware of wet land before driving onto a grassy gently sloping fields. Great views. Toilet not available in winter season.

Great free camping spot with amazing views of the lake and mountains’ just off the main road to super easy to get to. Difficult to find completely flat ground but not terrible! After heavy rain could definitely get incredibly muddy

Peaceful and quiet completely away from roads. Short drive to Fairlie as well. Toilets not open during winter and not a lot of flat surface to park up. Be careful if there has been snow or rain as it can become muddy. Almost got stuck.

Incredible! The place is peaceful and the views on the mountains are clear! Quiet with large spaces to park in the grass.

Great spot to spend the night. There were just a few vans/campervans besides me. Super chill. Just park on the grasa, so you must be careful. If rains you can ger stack. No toilets during winter season. 4G signal poor but enough :)

Super easy to get to with minimal distance on a non-paved road. Plenty of space available as we arrived just before sunset & the views of the lake and mountains at sunrise were beautiful! Great stopping point for the night between Christchurch & Mt Cook/Aoraki

Great spacious spot! Nice views over the lake. We stayed here on our way from Lake Tekapo to Methven.
