Great spot for a pause. Like the description says, it's more of a photospot to get the windy road towards Mt cook village.

Raining heavily and really foggy. Can barely see anything. But the water is really clear and beautiful

Make sure you go down to the lake, the view is worth the very short walk!

Super glad we decided to drive up here as the entire gully below was covered in thick fog. It was sunny and clear up here with such a beautiful view of lake and Mt Cook. A nice walk down to the lake edge too.
