We just spent a night here and it was great! Very spacious. We’re 15 metres hitched up and had oodles of room! Briefly met custodian, Gaye who was very friendly! Lovely and quiet at night, and close to Geraldine! It was very magical when it started snowing!! Unfortunately another camper or someone popping in allowed their dog/dogs to poo around where we were camped. Apart from that! Very good! We’ll be back! TASMAN TRAVELS

Great little find. Lots of space, very clean toilets. Nice cosy recreation room with sofas, games and heaters. Great host who came to check we were OK in the snow.

Great spot to Park up, we were the only campers there, no road noise , clean facilities and found a perfectly level site, will definitely stay again!

OK if passing through or desperate. Tiny area roped off to park up and very unlevel up and down. Road noise bad. Of course dogs MUST be on a lead and the people parked up there long term (?) Someone has a terrier roaming the area terrorising our tied up dog......

We stayed here for 2 nights in transit from Nelson to Wanaka. A very quiet and peaceful park away from the busy traffic. A friendly helpful custodian on site who confirmed that the Club are keen to encourage use of this park but have yet to finalise the signage and the information shed. Water is available from several taps around the race course buildings but if the course gates are locked you would have to carry water containers through the archway in the hedge. Note that there are a few undulations running across the parking area and caravans especially with a long overhang behind the rear axle may find that they scrape their rear end on the way in or out. Many thanks to the racing Club for making this area available.

This is a great spot 5 minutes from town, plenty of room and great place to chill out. Friendly custodians. ( no nmca sign on gate yet)
