We arrived today and the gate was locked and no access to toilets. I had thought you could just turn up and pay, but it seems not!
What an amazing park over. Second time here. But tonight a fun filled night of playing table tennis with the locals. Yes had so much fun
Very peaceful , tidy and feels safe . Can’t understand why more people don’t take advantage of this community’s generosity . Maybe a new spot and word hasn’t got around yet .
Another lovely place to camp close to Geraldine. Pleasant Valley lives up to its name and the community hall is surrounded by picturesque paddocks, hills and the river. Just up the road is the beautiful wooden and historic St.Anne's Church which is still in use. The custodians of the hall are lovely and provided a very warm welcome as well as some fresh farm eggs (well worth the $5 doz). Altogether we spent a quiet and relaxing time here with friends. Thanks so much to the local community for making this available. Will certainly be back.
Great spot and only mins from Geraldine. Lovely views of the rolling countryside. We will definitely come back and keep exploring the area.
