Lovely little spot to break up your drive, just 15 mins off the main road. Well signed posted and quick 15 mins walk to the big tree!

Short and easy walk through the forest to many big red wood trees. Biggest was 31m tall and 8.4m in width. Lived for a thousand years. Many beautiful ferns too. Two picnic tables and a very clean shelter for meals.

Short walk (20 'return) to a really huge tree. Very impressive and really recommendable. The path leads through a beautiful fern forest with many birds.

Nice short walks in the woods near the old big trees. Short stop is definitely worth it if you are interested in forest and nature.
