Great spot the toilets are clean. Tables available 2 minutes on foot. Point of water to empty your dirty water and fill the cans. Drinking water on site. There may be a little noise because the entire parking lot is allowed for camp. But great
Good camping spot with drinking water dispenser and good, clean toilets.
We came in a rainy day. There are toilets and you are allowed to stay 2 nights per month. No windy at all! Nice view of the river. Quite and chill.
Closed due to severe weather no opening date
Amazing spot. Great brows. Cool watching all the water sports happening
One of the best free campsites around Napier (along with Springfield Reserve). I'm working in Hastings for a month and a half and travel back and forth between the two free campsites to reset the two consecutive nights, and I've never had any problems. The campers are friendly, especially the locals who live there permanently. I highly recommend it!
Nice quiet location. Clean public toilets with soap and toilet roll available. Drinking water available. Great watching the rowers go by.
What a great spot on the water especially on a very hot NZ day...31 degrees and the town just a 5 minute walk with a lovely pub the closest for a nice cold pint.
> Beautiful spot by the estuary > Clean toilets > Some strange young people who were very observant, but even being alone, I felt reassured because there were many other well-behaved campers and, most importantly, someone came around to check license plates in case of any problems > Plenty of spaces > Green spaces nearby
Beautiful riverside spot, easy parking, potable water drinking fountain for humans and dogs, clean regularly maintained public toilets and rubbish bins. No shore power available. Quiet spot despite about ten motorhomes on the night. Lots of passing walkers and cyclists on the riverside track.
