I slept here one week ago just one night Great spot. Super chill. Clean toilets. There are bbqs to use behind the playground. There are some picnic tables too! 4G/5G signal. No windy at all

first night felt safe, very chill great spot. Second night (tonight) we were the only ones in the gravel lot and about 10:30 some guy pulls up visibly intoxicated blasting music, walking around our van, let’s out a giant dog, and rearranging his car three times into the middle of the lot making it difficult to even leave when we made the decision to get the he ll out of there

Really good spot for a night. Toilets, water (no drinking water), plenty of space, quiet, playground Felt very safe (female, solo)!

Clean restrooms, pleasant atmosphere, safe and quiet. Free of charge. Only a 15-minute drive from Napier.

Lots of space and decent bathrooms. Guy came around 10pm and did burnouts but he was polite and did ask first lol. Lots of bugs also.

A great, safe alternative to Napier, and only 15 minutes away. Toilets are cleaned almost daily. There are two parking areas; it's better to park on the grass than in the playground. Very peaceful, with less traffic at night.

Excellent facilities. Nice and clean. No drinking water. Toilets lit at night time but only with central light zone so dull in the cubicles. Enough light to see by. Quiet at night time. Close to shops and pub.

We arrived at 7pm and it was already dark so hard to see where to park and could not see any other vans so parked on the hardstanding next to the park and toilets. Very clean and tidy site and a chap came and cleaned the toilets, BBQ & emptied the bins around 8:30am. There are 2 entrances which we found out in the morning, 1 to the playground and toilets & the other just down into a grass area where another 2 vans had parked. Lovely spot even though its next to a road. No signal.We recommend it.

Good place to sleep, loads of space on a grassy area. When we arrived at 4pm there were no vans, afterwards 3 arrived. If you are girl alone, it can be a bit scary but it is fine as it is quiet. Good toilets. Next to the road but in the evening it gets quiet so no problem to sleep.

Toilets were closed but two portaloos are available right next to them. Kids playing in the afternoon and locals coming to drink and play loud music in the evening.
