I forgot my hiking boots; has anyone found them? They're a very large shoe size.

The dead cow is back :/ Half of the site is closed as going under renovations and the rest of the site is severely overgrown. It’s really quite upsetting that farmers don’t properly dispose of dead livestock and feel it’s appropriate to just dump at nature reservers where ppl camp and make holiday time. Drop toilet is so disgusting everyone that was camping there never used it and just went potty outside it. The locals also keep steeling the picnic tables which is really upsetting.

Freecamp is very quiet with plenty of space. There's only a dry toilet, no sink, so you really need to be self-contained. Great for one night, on the way to or from the ferry.

Great campsite, fresh toilet and remote location! A bit scary at night but other than that perfect! You will need to have fresh water with you as there is no water on site!

Isolated site, lots of space, quiet and close to the river. A little enchanted interlude in the heart of this beautiful valley.

Lovely spot by the river with secluded areas to camp. Long drop toilet available. Good phone signal. camping using tents is allowed if you are cycling the molesworth track. Some overhanging trees to be aware of you have a high vehicle. Fossil hunting possible in the riverbed. Could be muddy after heavy rain. A short drive from SH1 to be in the wilderness for a night or 2 :)

Good freedom camping with long drop toilet and toilet paper, no soap or water. Was very serene and silent, during the day a sketchy guy asked me if I needed a job but when I said no he drove off. Good phone signal.

Can't possibly understand how fewer people is a bad thing for anyone. Great remote place by the river where you can take a bath. Dead cow is definitely a thing of the past. Each spot has their own private bay so even if there are few other campers you can still have your own space. Sign says max 5 Campervans per night but it seems like it hardly ever gets that crowded. Lovely spot. Great alternative if other spots around Blenheim are taken.

Good basic freedom camping site with long-drop. Room for campers and caravans. No signs requiring self contained vehicles only and tere were several groups in tents. Good place to stay if you have doe the Molesworth from South to North and you don't want to stay at the DOC camp. Mobile phone reception

Completely abandoned. Toilet filthy, a dead cow that stinks all the place. The river is nice though.
