One of the nicest campsites on our trip. Small and charming, clean toilets and free hot showers. Great view of the lake and super friendly owners. Super quiet. Highly recommended!

Lovely campsite with an amazing owner. So friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The campgrounds are situated by a beautiful lake which is very picturesque. There is a gate at night, so felt very safe. Showers and toilets were really clean and kitchen facilities were fantastic. One of the best value for money campsites we’ve found!

Super nice place! We unexpectedly stayed an extra night. The owners are very friendly. They're happy to chat with you and help you whenever needed. We had a quiet spot. We were able to do our laundry for $2, and drying it costs $4. We also rented two mountain bikes and helmets for $10 each. There are great mountain bike trails (two parks next to the campsite). I highly recommend driving here and staying there!

Lovely site by the lake with lots of fun adventures for kids that’s far from the commercialized stuff you find in your average holiday parks. Really nice and helpful couple running it.

The owner is very nice and friendly. It's a quiet campground. Showers and toilets are free. Laundry costs $2 and the dryer $4.

Lowest price for an unpowered site is actually $38 for two. Would be helpful if descriptions actually said the legit prices.

Beautiful little spot just south of Whanganui. Not too busy. Right on the lake (ducks and water skiers woke me up) and mountain bike trails are just over the fence. Was glad I brought my sup board and mountain bike
