Really nice walks, worth the stop.

Amazing place!! Must go for anyone in the area! After visiting Zealandia we didn’t expect to see something as impressive, but Busy Park has some very old trees and you see saddleback, hihi, robins,…. And it! S for free!

What a stunning place to stay, loved the bush walks, seeing and hearing the many birds in this sanctuary. Beautiful grounds and homestead, small museum, info center, super clean toilets. Will return.

Didnt get to enter as we have dogs with us on our travels, would have been nice to know from the main road that this is not just a park but a protected sanctuary which i understand about not allowing dogs but would have been nice to know that from the main road rather then travelling the 5km just to have to turn around

This is a must to visit, a great real rural homestead with plenty of interesting history. Not many places like it in NZ. Top attraction.

This is a great place to go to. There are amazing birds to see, plants and nice walks, plus it’s free ! Absolutely loved it !!

This is an amazing place. For anyone interested in birds, forest conservation, country walks and protecting NZ's natural heritage... This is the place to go. Interesting buildings, Edwardian homestead and a small but very interesting, high standard, visitor centre. Worth every minute there!
