Attention: Don't park here on friday nights because they have a market on Saturday morning.
Don't listen the comment below, only two spots available. Full at 4pm
Nice freedom camping Around 10 spots available (very close to one another) Clean public toilets nearby River view
Average place, just a car park, nice flush toilets but unfortunately left to go somewhere else as there was a dodgy guy in a car staring at us
Clean, quiet, toilet close by. Wasn’t full overnight. Have to be out by 8am and as others have said no stays Friday night.
In a carpark, not allowed friday night as market on Saturday. Turned up as finishing, so got in no problem. Quiet night except for inconsiderate couple packing up with lots of banging of crockery etc at 0300hrs. Toilets nearby open all night, drinking water down the road, and rubbish bins.
Failed to notice that the site is technically closed on Friday nights - got a loud knock at 4:30am by the market folk! Also a pretty busy carpark with cars pulling up next to us until 1am
The market is set up early Saturday morning, so we were woken up during the night. It wasn't ideal in the middle of the night because you don't know what's going on. And you have to find a new spot quickly. There's no indication anywhere that it's not wise to be there on Friday evening. Otherwise, it's a great spot.
Nice spot close to river/town. Shopping centre 5minutes walk away with supermarket & warehouse for low cost things you may have forgotten. As others said be aware of the two 60min parks. Marked with yellow lines on the tarmac & have signs on path but won’t be easily seen if campervans already parked. Biggest advise….DO NOT park here on Friday night. There is a market on Saturday morning resulting in 4:30am wake up call! Highly recommend Jubilee Park 6 mins drive, toilets & showers during day
Closed on Friday nights!
