Helpful as we had to arrive late (in the pitch black as it turned out!). Toilets clean, beautiful scenery, not expensive at all (we got a powered site near beach). Very happy

This campground is fantastic – clean, comfortable, and in a great location. On top of that, the people here are truly amazing. We had an issue and they immediately helped us with everything we needed, showing so much kindness and care. Highly recommended!

Ended up staying here for the night. It wasn’t bad but it was the most expensive I’ve seen in all of north island and I’m here during off season. Didn’t really seem worth it to me. It was clean, got the job done. Wish I could say more!

Great stay. Host/owner was very friendly and accommodating. Quiet and peaceful night. Kitchen/lounge facilities were good and clean - pots/pans available, with plenty kettles/stoves/toasters/microwaves. Toilet/shower facilities were also clean. Would stay again!

$ for an unpowered site and having to pay 1$ the 6mn of shower (in July) . The cleaning in the bathroom was not here (at the sinks for ex) and except 3 pots here and there in the kitchens, no plates and no cutlery available so bring yours. For the price I was expecting a little more.

What a great spot! Beautiful place on a sunny winter’s day. Spacious sites, nice facilities and friendly hosts. We’ll be back

Our pitch was large for a not very expensive sum (mid season) The campsite is correct but the cleaning was not at the appointment in the kitchen, in particular the fridge and the showers a bit limited…

Amazing price for all the same facilities that other campsites would charge you more, brilliant location by the beach- definitely a hidden gem!

Amazing camping place: plenty of space with a powered site, clean facilities, long shower (1 NZD) and a beautiful beach in walking distance. If time, we would stay longer. Thanks to our hosts!
