Currently the gate is locked with a sign saying 'Closed due to fire risk'. I was approached by the land owner who informed me that the trail is open and that DOC haven't had a chance to remove the sign/unlock the gate yet. As per her advice, I climbed over the gate and enjoyed a beautiful, quiet walk.

Sooo beautiful. Just sitting on the beach and relaxing.

Great view, well worth a visit if you go to Nelson! We lost the way after 10 min and found ourselves in the middle of a field of sheep and thistles very sloping. Once arrived at the top we found the way down. We must follow the white poles!

Great walk. We saw dolphins today.
