Excellent place to stop off and break up the journey between Nelson & Blenheim. Quiet night despite distance to the highway. Beautiful setting lots of trees & picnic tables. No toilets, so preferable to vehicles that have their own.
Lovely site, unsure if it actually is a free camping site. Couldn’t see any signs and lots of people kept pulling in then leaving. We stayed and didn’t get a fine, but up to you whether you want to risk it! Also NO SIGNAL
big spacious and lots of nature. next to a stream, birds everywhere and sandflys!!! too many sandflys!! could only stay one night because of them omg. maybe easier if u have a bigger campervan. no toilet but gorg spot
Really great place! Lots of space and greenery. It is next to the road. No toilets! There are picknickbenches (and some sandflies).
Great stop over away from the hustle. No toilet but serenity is lovely and had a very good sleep. We were the only ones there.
The place is spacious and big. It was clean when we came. There were no sandflies in September. You do have to watch our for low branches with a 6berth motorhome, but if you enter in the right it's not a problem. We made a fire down by the creek and the kids loved it. There was no cell signal.
Couldn’t find Graham Stream Reserve on Google Map but typed in ‘Rest area State Highway 6’ and it will bring you there. Nice and quiet, occasional noise from road but doesn’t bother us. Beware of low tree branches if you are driving a huge motorhome (6 berth) like us. There are picnic tables and a stream nearby. No toilets. 1 bar phone signal. Would come back again Stayed 1 Night in Aug 2025
We had a lovely night here. Some road noise, but the stars were amazing.
Very good and peaceful spot. You can park anywhere. There is water down at the lake, no toilets.
Stayed here for two be night which is great!
