I’t recommend this place to a girl who would camp on the parking lot alone. Our experience was very negative. At half 3 in the morning about 3 meters from our car, somebody was blowing their sticks into the ground for an hour and a half and screaming. It was very unpleasant. As for the toilets, they were fine.

Campsite with parking space for 7 vehicles, near the town of Wangarei. There is a toilet open 24/24h. Large clean toilets during the day and paid douches limited to 6 minutes of hot water. A lot of passage because it is on the edge of the road but everything went well for us.

Not the quietest but I slept with no problem. Felt pretty safe and just one single private bathroom stays open during the night and it wasn't the cleanest but I've seen worse.

Rats. And the single 24h toilet reeks of piss, isn’t very clean and splashes toilet water onto the seat everytime you flush.

We didn't spend the night there, we just came to take a shower. It wasn't very clean, but it did the job.

Close to the road, lots of people loitering and making noise, you don't feel safe. Toilets and showers close very early. There's one accessible toilet open 24/7, so there's a long queue. Not really the best free camping spot.

Great for an overnight stay with a shower and toilet. The shower costs $3 and lasts a good 5 minutes. Be aware that when we tried to insert the second token, it didn't work, and we had to finish with cold water.

Didn’t camp overnight here but we did use the shower. Go to the information desk inside the main building to get a token - $3 for a 5-minute hot shower, max two tokens per person (private cubicle). Clean facilities.

6 places for Self-contained. Very good hot shower, $3, token to be taken at reception before 4:30 p.m.
