Very friendly welcome and accommodating site staff. Quiet with good size pitches. Lovely beach 5 mins walk away. Would recommend this as a tucked-away and peaceful site near Mangonui.

Will not recommend this place,$60/person for unpowered site.Free wi-fi only for 500mb.4 minutes shower for $2,,but come out with cold water only. Kitchen with 2 gas cooktops,refrigerator,freezer,toaster,microwave and kettle.That’s all.Bring your own cooking equipment and washing liquid.

Enjoyed our stay here, beautiful location good powered sites and 5 minute walk from the beach. No wifi and facilities are a bit run down but they do the job. Little shop as well was useful!

Loverly site. Big space for van , close to beach one of the nicest we stayed , ok it’s a few dollars more but worth the extra compared to some sites. Well nice feel to it

We were kindly allowed to stay with very last minute notice (they kept the office open for ys). Beautiful clean and green space with great facilities. First shower free :) Beautiful view

Beautiful place, everything is very clean and well appointed! Small downside, the showers cost $2 for 5 minutes, too bad for a campsite at $20 per person..

Beautiful camping!! Staff is nice and helpful. Kitchen is big and appliances are new. Just a couple hundred meters from the beach! Unisex bathrooms and showers. You get one shower for free (4 minutes long), afterwards you have to pay 2$ per 4 minutes.

Would recommend! Very friendly staff with a lovely dog. Everything was clean and tidy, nice atmosphere and an awesome location- only a 2 min walk to a gorgeous beach😍

Wonderful friendly accommodating people ? excellent fishing and walking advice ? awesome camp dog called snapper ? parrots, grey herons, paradise ducks and pukekos grazing camp grounds ? Nelson my dog and I have been to over 161 camps in nz in past 18 months ? this is one of my top 3 .... Highly recommend ?
