The campsite is fantastic with a sea view. There was hardly anyone there during our stay. The toilets and kitchens are very clean and well-equipped.

This is by far the best campsite we’ve stayed at so far. We arrived after 5 PM and the campground was only half full, so we were free to choose any spot we liked. In the end, we picked a place in the upper section, where we had complete privacy and peace. The facilities are outstanding – the toilets were beautiful and very clean, and the showers were excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need while traveling. Fully recomended.

Nice enough spot but no beach when the tide is in and not inviting when tide out. No shops in the vicinity. Even though we had booked weeks in advance with a larger motor home and arrived early all they could provide was a tent site and we were boxed in. New upper facilities but only one tap and one stove in the kitchen. No wash basins and no mirrors. Nothing labeled. They ran out of hot water/ gas. Door lock on shower not working. Very steep path to facilities and pitch black at night.

Smaller holiday park with cosy green forest vibe. Most expensive top 10 park we stayed in without any obvious justification for extra cost. 5 min showers, wifi. Scary recreation room, but families looked happy were enjoying themselves running/biking around.

Stayed here one night in an unpowered tent site. This place was nice, being a top 10 holiday park I expected more cleanly and updated amenities such as showers, laundry etc. Staff was friendly. Can't say i would reccomend for the $52 a night for 1 person in an unpowerd site.

This campsite was amazing! Can't rate it highly enough, easily the best we have been to in NZ (visited 9 others). Lovely location right on Doubtless Bay. Great facilities, very clean and plenty of them. Kitchen is excellent, immaculate! All cooking equipment is provided with access to fridge and freezer. Great WiFi for facetime. Rec room with TV, sofas and table tennis. Welcoming and friendly staff. Laundry/dryer 4 dollars each, BBQ available. Expect it's very busy in peak season, recommend it!

Camped here for one night. Lovely setting in a quiet area, with lots of space on the holiday park. Lovely friendly accommodating staff. Showers are fab, warm and high pressure. Toilets and showers are also very clean. Kitchen is fantastic with everything you could need! Local village has some nice walks, restaurants and grocery shops. Wi-Fi was a little bit on and off, but not a huge problem! Very fair pricing and would stay again 😌

Lovely little campground with nice shady trees. Can only just see the beach water from most of the campsites - it’s across the road. Bring watershoes if you want to swim right across from the campground - it’s stony; otherwise a 100m or so walk down the beach brings you to a more sandy swimming area.
