Nice and close to town
Cute spot to camp if you can snag a spot (silly people parking here in cars after 6pm), toilets and right in town
Please SCAN when you enter! Drive here and all 3 sites were full!
Do not park here! The three parking spaces are far too few, and the wait for them to become available is far too long. If you park overnight next to the marked space, you will be fined 400 NZD!
Listing says you’re not allowed to park here until after 6pm, but most of the times I’ve tried it’s full way before then. Level spots, very close to Arrowtown which exceeded expectations.
Good spot. Unfortunately only 3 spots and we snagged the last spot at 4pm there is a some MPV which has certified "self contained" parked almost permanently as they work nearby and live in the vehicle. Toilets nearby are clean.
Perfect but only 3 spaces. Location is right in the town so handy for looking around the shops, restaurants, bars
Perfect! Right down town. There’s only 3 spaces - we were lucky when we arrived as one space left. One spot next to us has changed twice since we arrived.
Really close to the town and easily walkable to the local bars and cafes in the morning. It was quiet and weren’t disturbed by morning parking. Remember to clock in at 6pm using the QR code and check out by 8am.
Great free camp. There's just 3 spaces at the back of the car park, which you're allowed in from 6pm and leave before 8am. Risky because they might be taken by other cars (it was full when we arrived so we waiting until someone luckily left). The sign at the entrance to the car park says no camping but a sign inside (see picture explains what's allowed). Toilets open all night (late Nov)
