Very overgrown and full of cow pats but a beautiful quick walk to a fabulous beach. Lots of interesting stones to rival gemstone beach. A fair few sandflies though. I didn’t see any whales but I hear this is the place to spot them. You can see the ocean from the car park layby. Plenty of space for a motor home or caravan to park while you picnic or do the quick walk. Tip : wear full shoes and long pants and long sleeves. Lots of prickles on the overgrown path in places. Worth a visit to experience the solitude.

The track is open again. However, I went there on a rainy day and didn't see much. But it's always nice to walk along a beach
