Moved here from the campsite by the lake. It's a nice spot, toilet was okay. Good for a night. It's just a field, nothing special, but way less sandflies than at the lake. It also has some picnic tables.
Decent spot. Near the lake which is nice for walks. Quite a long gravel road leading to it but we managed without needing a 4x4. Drop toilet is okay, can’t complain since it’s free. Not many people staying there which was nice. Quite a lot of midges which were annoying but nice spot. No signal.
Really nice spot, wish it wasn't so many grass spots you can get stuck.
Nice spot for a night. It’s a huge grass area, you’ll find a spot for sure. Toilet a little smelly, but you can just leave the door open between usage. We were one of four campers out here and had a pleasant night. You can hear various birds during you stay.
Just a field and a drop toilet, but quiet and surrounded by birds. All we needed!
Beautiful campsite, a very good walk near here, the forest is very beautiful. But unfortunately too many sandflies to spend the night here.
Spent the night here on 22/11. It's a beautiful big field with lots of space, really quiet and serene. However, due to the heavy rains of the last few weeks it is very very muddy so please, if you don't have a 4WD don't go into the field. There was a local in a caravan there and he said he had seen and helped people who'd gotten stuck everyday for the past week (he also said he was making some money off of it haha). We loved it here and our little van did fine on the gravel road.
In the rain the lawn is very, very mushy. The toilet is absolutely disgusting and stinks! There is water, but that is not drinking water.
Lots of space but mainly on the grass and it can be a trap after the rain! I stayed on a small part of gravels instead. Yes the toilet smells bad but every long-drop does. There were only two of us... At midday, truck drivers stops for lunch since it’s a picnic area.
It’s a bit boring at the campground itself. The toilet smells really bad as it is a long drop toilet in a tiny house. Keeps the smell inside. BUT the forest around is absolutely stunning! Must see! Lots of people at the lake though. If you love nature just go there during the day and take a walk in the forest! ?
